Spring Training

Thank You for an Incredible Spring Training Session

We had a great time hosting Holly Bolton and Barbara Shuck for Spring Training: From the Playbook to the Field — Applying Principles of Influence to Marketing and Business Development. The session brought together AEC marketers and business developers for an engaging, thought‑provoking workshop that explored why people make the decisions they do—and how understanding those drivers can transform how we communicate, influence, and build relationships.

Drawing from the SMPS Foundation’s research on the neuropsychology of influence and decision‑making, Holly and Barbara guided participants through practical applications of behavioral economics and influence principles tailored specifically to AEC marketing and business development. The interactive format and real‑world examples sparked great discussion and left attendees with actionable strategies they can put to work right away.

We’re incredibly grateful to our event sponsor, Stout Construction, and our in‑kind sponsor, The Boldt Company, whose support helped make this event possible. Their partnership played a key role in creating a meaningful learning experience for our community.

Thank you again to Holly and Barbara for sharing their expertise, to our sponsors for their generosity, and to everyone who joined us for an outstanding Spring Training event.
