700 N Greenwood Ave - Room 118
Tulsa, OK 74106

Program description:

Make the words matter! With a more prominent role in proposal and presentation development, content writing is essential to winning work and communicating effectively with clients. Developing winning content can be difficult though. We’re not always sure how to best say what we want, or what we even want to say. In this presentation, you’ll learn how to find and develop your overall winning proposal message that sells your company’s unique value, and how to create customized content, which speaks directly to your client and efficiently conveys your message. You’ll also learn how to carry over your tailored proposal messaging into the interview phase, driving home the project for a win! Additionally, this presentation will provide tips to producing “evergreen” content, which lasts beyond the life of the proposal and showcases client-centric value.

“Make the Words Matter.” This is the phrase that drives Jana Bendinelli, who serves as a strategic writer for Garver’s Water marketing team. Jana is involved in messaging throughout all phases of the client development process. She believes effective content provides a better understanding of the engineering world to our audience. Jana employs a conversational writing style to create engaging content. She strives to tell her team’s story in a way that holds the reader’s attention and makes them remember who we are and why we love what we do. Jana has eight years of experience in the A/E/C industry. Her success is rooted in clear, concise content, open team communication, and innovative development strategies. She is passionate about what she does and brings that enthusiasm to every project. As Garver’s strategic writer, Jana creates customized content for proposals, presentations, and other marketing efforts, delivering winning, client-focused messaging.
